Higher Hendham House is an attractive 19th century farmhouse with 10 acres of garden and fields, set in a peaceful and tranquil valley.

BED & BREAKFAST
Our two double and one twin bedded, newly refurbished bedrooms, are all en-suite (with bath), have T.V./DVD, beverage tray and central heating, offering superior and comfortable accommodation.
We provide a choice of delicious Aga cooked breakfasts (using local produce), served in our sunny conservatory.
There is a charming guest lounge, with large fireplace for real log fires, when taking those out of season breaks.
Relax in our serene and quiet garden of mature trees and shrubs, while deciding what to do for the day.
Well behaved dogs (and children) welcome, and there is even room for a horse!

Three newly converted barn cottages, sleeping 2 ~ 8 people also available. The small and quiet hamlet of Hendham is approximately 5 miles from the market town of Kingsbridge. Also close by, is the historic naval town of Dartmouth, the bohemian town of Totnes, and the sailing centre of Salcombe.
With the unique and beautiful coast of South Devon, and the stunning landscape of Dartmoor, the South Hams is the perfect location to enjoy a romantic break or a family holiday.
If you are considering an active holiday, there are a multitude of sports to enjoy. Windsurfing and sailing at Salcombe, canoeing on the Dart, riding on Dartmoor, or perhaps a round of golf on one of the nearby courses .
If feeling less energetic, walk along our miles of rugged cliffs, or amble down the winding country lanes. Explore the many pretty villages or perhaps just sit on one of the idyllic beaches, and do nothing!
Hungry? Try one of South Devon’s characterful country pubs for good bar meals and snacks. The South Hams also has a number of award winning restaurants.
